My gr-gr-gr-grandfather, Joel Griffith, his brother Squire, and Joel's brother-in-law, Hayden Jackson went to the California Gold Rush from Nodaway County, Missouri. Is there any list of miners, who came from Missouri, available for the area in or around Placerville or any articles written up in the Mountain Democrat Newspaper there? A Missouri newspaper stated that they went, but I have no other information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
