Mrs. Ruth Ann Ross Expires at Age 80
Selma (Fresno Co), Aug 1.
Mrs. Ruth Ann Ross, 80, the widow of Daniel Ross, a rancher, died here yesterday. She had been a resident of Selma twenty two years.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Mildred E. Fransen, San Jose; Mrs Margaret E. Christiana, Selma, and Mrs. mary S. Jones, Bakersfield, and three sons, Herbert M. Ross, Kansas; Harry R. Ross, Selma, and Horace H. Ross, Oakland.
Funeral services will be conducted in the J.L. Robinson Chapel here at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning by Rev P.M. Hayley. Burial will be in the West Selma Cemetery.

Funeral services are being arranged for Mrs. Margaret Christiania, 66, a former Fresnan, who died yesterday in San Francisco after an illness of about a year.
A native of Abilene, Kan., Mrs. Christiania lived in Madera for about 20 years before moving to Fresno in 1941. She lived here until a year ago and for a long time was a clerk in the E. Gottschalk & Company, Inc., store.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William G. Baley of 5323 Illinois Avenue, Fresno; a son, Harold M. Poe of San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. Mary Jones of Bakersfield; three brothers, Harry Ross of Selma, Herbert Ross of Abilene and Horace Ross of Berkeley; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
