Joy O. Lower
ORLAND -- Funeral services for Mrs. Joy O. Lower, 36-year old Capay mother killed instantly in a car-train crash Monday afternoon will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the F.D. Sweet & Son Chapel.
The Rev. Duwayne Flohr, pastor of the Hamilton City Evangelical Free Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Orland.
Mrs. Lower was a passenger in a car which was driven by her husband, Hubert, and which hit a freight train locomotive at a Southern Pacific Railroad Company crossing one mile north of Hamilton City. Lower and the couple's two children were injured.
