Terence J. Trahey of Ridgecrest passed away Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 at his temporary home in Oxnard, surrounded by his entire family. He was 58.
Mr. Trahey was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. July 5, 1946. He moved to Ridgecrest when he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1984. He worked 18 years in civil service, where he was currently serving as Chief of Police at Port Hueneme and Point Mugu Naval bases.
He loved traveling and being with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed very much and we know he will always be in our hearts.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years Fumie Trahey, daughter Suzan Trahey and boyfriend Bill Pettigrew, daughter Linda and husband Danny Polman of Ridgecrest, daughter April Trahey and boyfriend Tony Gregory of Oxnard, son John and wife Valarie Trahey, son Brett Trahey of Carson City, Nev., brother Brian Trahey of Rockaway Point, Queens, N.Y., brother Fred Arnold of Tampa, Fla., grandchildren Christopher Calvi, Nicholas Pettigrew, Jeremy Pettigrew, Matthew Polman, Michael Polman, Thoma Gregory, Alex and Geoffrey Gregory, Jessica, Nicole and Joshua Trahey, and great-grandson Jacob Calvi.
