I am researching the GRIFFITTS family of Mendocino, CA. Isaac Yokum GRIFFITTS and his wife, Mary Jane SNIVELY migrated to Mendocino in 1853 from Illinois. Isaac Griffitts and Mary Jane SNIVELY had ten children: Helen, George, Lincoln, Thomas, Wirt, Ida, Edwin, Frank, Kate, and Laura. I am currently researching Kate and Laura. The GRIFFITTS family lost track of the two girls over the years and my generation would like to know more about them. Laura GRIFFITTS was born 2 February 1854 in La Porte, Plumas, CA., and married William BROWER 1 October 1872 in Ukiah, Mendocino, CA. Kate GRIFFITTS was born in 1874, location unknown.
