I have found a set of the same photographs by GL Matthews as well. My husband's grandparents are from Cedarville, the Harvey Darsts. Since this was such a large news happening at the time, I assume that is why they had this photo collection because I have not yet found any connection to any of the people included in the photographs. My collection has two pages that go with them, one is a narrative of the whole incident from start to finish. The other is a descriptive page showing what is in each photo. They are mounted on very heavy print-board so they might not go through my scanner. If it is possible, I would be happy to scan them for anyone who wants copies.
