My daughter is Nellie Bly (Baker) O'Bryan's great-great-great niece. Nellie was a silent film actress who starred with Charlie Chaplin prior to her decision to leave the lime-light and move to Lundy Canyon in 1939. During her retirement years, she constructed and ran the "Upside-Down House," in Mono County. I am currently writing an article and possible book on her life. If anyone has any info on either Nellie or her husband, John, please forward to firstname.lastname@example.org
or call (909)597-7328 (you can call "collect"). Thank you for your assistance with my "labor or love." --Bonnie J. Bittle (Footnote: I have already been in contact w/ the Mono County, Mono Basin and Bishop Historical Societies which have been tremendously helpful.
