Died - Faudre - In Reno, December 2, 1937, Mrs. Carrie Faudre, wife of Crockett Faudre of Murphys, Calif.; mother of Mrs. Mildred Brown and Charles E. McMillan of Sonora, Calif., Adam D. McMillan of Leevining, Calif., Archie E. McMillan of Bridgeport, and Dan McMillan of Virginia City; sister of Relefe Borrows of Murphy, Calif., and grandmother of Elwood and Jack Brown of Bridgport. A native of Missouri, aged seventy-six years.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Miners' Union hall at Bodie, Calif. Rev. A.C.E. Bridger, clergyman; interment in the family plot in the Bodie cemetery. O'Brien and Nugent Company service.

Pioneer Bodie Resident Dies
Following a short illness, Mrs. Carrie Faudre, pioneer resident of Bodie and Masonic, Calif., died last night at a local hospital from pneumonia. She was brought to the hospital from her home in Masonic.
A native of Missouri, Mrs. Faudre spent the greater part of her life in the Bodie, Silver Point and Masonic camps, crossing the plains as a small child in a covered wagon. She was well known and had a wide circle of friends. She was seventy-six years old.
She is survived by her husband, Crockett Faudre of Murphys, Calif., and five sons and daughters; Charles E. McMilland and Mrs. Mildred Brown of Sonora, Calif., Adam D. McMillan of Leevining, Archie E. McMillan of Bridgeport and Dan McMillan of Virginia City; a sister, Mrs. Relefe Borrows of Murphys, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Elwood, Eleanor and Jack Brown of Bridgeport.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Miners' Union hall at Bodie. Rev. A.C.E. Bridger will officiate and burial will be in the family plot at the Bodie cemetery.

Funeral Is Held For Bodie Pioneer
Bodie, Calif, Dec. 7 - Scores of friends gathered at the Miners' Union hall here Sunday to attend final rites for Mrs. Carrie Faudre, pioneer Bodie and Masonic resident who died at a Reno hospital recently from pneumonia.
Members of the American Legion Auxiliary conducted the rites with Rev. A.C.E. Bridger officiating. Burial was in the family plot of the Bodie cemetery.
