Bottom Line First: I am attaching my research for Betty. I found no proof she lived or died in Monterey County. Her husband, Charles, appears to have remarried to Lydia (Lydia's obit is below). Your best bet of information is contact with the people identified in Lydia's obituary.
The 1940 Census of Kanarrasville, Iron Co, UT, enumerated April 2.
Betty Jane Buzzo, age 12,
Brian Buzzo, age 10.
CA Death index shows this enumeration date was her birthdate.
The Nevada Marriage Records:
Charles R. Lommasson to Betty J. Buzzo, 5 May 1965, Clark Co.
--They also married in Texas:http://files.usgwarchives.net/tx/blanco/vitals/marriages/gro...
Charles R. Lommasson, born 28 Dec 1914, residing in Ukiah, CA; also at 1109 Brussels St, San Fran., in 1980. Betty also at the San Fran address in 1980.
The Monterey County Recorder:
5/22/1990, Reconveyance/Substitution of Trustee, Grantors: Charles R and Lydia M Lommasson.
5/13/2001, Deed, Lydia M to Lydia Marie Lommasson Living Trust as Trustee
10/04/2006, Affidavit: Lydia M Lommasson, Deceased; to LYdia M Lommasson Living Trust, Nathan Wood Trustee.
10/04/2006, Deed: Nathan Wood Trustee of Lydia Lommasson Living Trust, deed to Nathan Wood.
--There were no documents in the name of Betty.
--CA Divorce Records:
Charles R. Lommasson from Lomis(as transcribed, BUT, the image shows this as Lydia) M. Freiser, June 1966, in Monterey Co. So, either the above in Monterey was not the correct person, or Charles and Betty had a very short marriage. This Charles and Lydia may have remarried.
CA Death Index:
Betty Jane Lommasson [Betty Jane Buzzo] born 2 April 1928 in Utah, died 31 Dec 1995 in Monterey, CA, mothers maiden: Hall.
--This indicates she died here, but may not have lived here. It could also be a copy of her death certificate was filed here. Your answer "might" be in the obtaining of her death certificate.
US Dept of Veteran Affairs:
Charles Lommasson, born 28 Dec 1914, died 3 May 2009, Army: 27 Oct 1943-1 Feb 1946; 24 June 1947 to 19 Jul 1962.
The Social Security Death Index:
Charles Richard Lommasson, born 28 Dec 1914, died 3 May 2009, "Last Residence:" Castroville, Monterey, CA.
Betty J. Lommasson, born 2 April 1928, died Dec 1995. "Last Residence:" Castroville, Monterey Co, CA.
--The "last residence" on the SSDI is NOT necessarily where a person actually lived or died. The Social Security Administration calls it simply the "home of record," and possibly the address where correspondence by the SSA was sent. It is not necessarily where any benefit was paid to the person, survivor, or the lumpsum death benefit (in years past, it was paid to anyone paying burial expenses, family member, funeral home, city/county, attorney; today, a living spouse). It is sometimes the location where the notification of death was sent to the SSA, sometimes where the lump sum death benefit was sent.
CA Marriage Index: Charles A. Lommasson, born abt 1951 to Annette M Sierra, born abt 1951, on 21 June 1970 in Monterey Co.
Social Security Death Index:
Betty J. Evans, born 2 April 1928, died 2 May 1999 in Marina, Monterey, CA.
HOWEVER, this person received her SSN in Illinois and records disprove her as being the correct Betty. I'm leaving this for your future elimination if somone else provides this as being correct.

I found no cases in these persons names in the Monterey County Superior Court (Probate, Divorce, etc).
---Note Nathan and Yuko Wood still living in the County in 2012.
