My aunt and mother lived at Girls Town in the early 1950s. It was an all-girls facility run by a woman named Essie Binkley West. Ms. West, an evangelist, ran Girls Town and also had a radio program called "The Sunshine Hour." Girls Town was located at 7911 Arlington Avenue, in Riverside, California. My aunt, Marie Mosier, is trying to locate anyone who has any information or perhaps attended Girls Town. My mother, Joyce Mosier, is deceased.
