Looking for descendants of Oliver M WOZENCRAFT MD, early settler of San Bernardino, member of 1st constitutional congress for statehood, instigator of Colorado River project. Featured in article in Real West Yearbook Fall of 1955 or 1965. Arrived San Francisco 1849, brought family in 1850 from New Orleans. William R b 29 May 1838 Tn-d 23 Sept 1877 buried Pioneer Cemetery of San Bernardino in large old crypt, one of 1st in cemetery. Someone has called it San Pasqual Cemetery in another article. Dr Wozencraft died in Washington DC 1887 brought back by son Henry Clay Wozencraft b 27 Apr 1845 New Orleans-d 30 July 1890. In 1900 Dr Wozencraft's widow Lemiza was living in San Bernardino with daughter and son-in-law Mary and Leopold STEINBRENNER.
