Could not an obit but found a few things. See attached.

The first article is from the Oregonian newspaper, 12-10-46, marriage notice for Carl E. Norling and Olive Beaugher.

Second article is a birth announcement from the San Diego Union, 10-22-53 for the birth of his son Edward Arthur Norling. (Confirmed the son's name and mother's maiden name on familysearch.org. There were also two other children born to the couple, Debra J., 9-5-59 and John M., 10-23-56.)
Looks like son Edward married in San Diego on 11-30-74 to a Theresa S. Austin.

Third article shows divorce filed, from the San Diego Union, 9-13-62, for Jeanne and Carl Norling.
