MUSIC TEACHER PASSES
Henry Monroe Virtue, 85, a San Diego resident 24 years, died yesterday morning at his home, 3825 Birch st.

Mr. Virtue, a native of Indiana, formerly operated a music store in the Masonic building on Fifth ave. He also taught music and in later years did paint contracting work. He was an active worker in the First Friends church until about a year ago when he retired because of his health.

Mr. Virtue is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rosa E. Virtue; three daughters, Mrs. Fern M. Pennepacker, San Diego; Mrs. Nellie Chambers, Lyons, Ind., and Mrs. Pearl Rankin, Chicago; and two sons, Frank A. Virtue, San Jose, and Fred L. Virtue, Indianapolis, Ind.

The body is at Bonham Brothers' mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
