I am looking for my paternal great grandfather, George Clayton, b.
abt 1838 in Ohio (maybe), d. abt 1902) Married to Mary Julia
Eastman Sinclair Clayton (b. 1846 in Alabama, d. 1922 in San Jose)
. They had 4 children. Here is a quote from her obituary:

"Private funeral services were held at the funeral parlors of
Hocking and Williams after which the body was taken to Mount
Olivet for cremation. The ashes will be buried in Weaverville, by
the side of the deceased woman's mother, and her infant son,
according to her wishes."

My grandmother, Florence Clayton (b. , married George and Mary's
son, Harvey, and lived all their married lives in Lewiston. They
had a son Thomas Harvey (b.1916), who was my father. He was
killed in a motorcycle crash in 1942.
