Hi Gemma,
Have you checked the Bureau of Land Management?

http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ca/ca-land.htm

Shasta county:
DOOLITTLE, Walter A: MD range, 0310N, 0030W, sect 031, doc. # 1078, 1888/04/04

Siskiyou county:
DOOLITTLE, Maria: HM range, 0150N, 0070E, sect 006 & 007, doc # 9819, 1884/10/15

DOOLITTLE, Maria; DOOLITTLE, Albert; CRISMAN, Lewis H:
HM range, 160N, 0070ER sect 013, doc# 3938, 1880/05/12
HM range, 160N, 0080E, sect 018, doc# 3938, 1880/05/12

Trinity county:
Frank T. DOOLITTLE: HM range, 0050S, 0070E, sect 026 & 035, doc# 168688, 1911/01/09

Is Frank Theodore DOOLITTLE the same as the man on trial, Theodore Francis DOOLITTLE? Or is he a relative? Just
nosy, I am not related! I come from the McCLARY line of the BLOSS-McCLARY (Trinity) goldmine circa 1880's. You might also try some of the other surrounding counties for relatives!
Cheers, Kimm in Texas
