I am not able to find my grandparents in the 1940 California US Census and this is a real puzzle. Their names are Reynold Marius Johnson born in Oakland California on 28 May 1912. His father was born in Wisconsin and his mother in Sweden.
My grandmother is Doris Eileen Fish born in British Columbia Canada in 31 December 1914. Her parents are both from England.
My grandparents married in San Francisco in 1938.
I've tried many different spellings for their names and looked throughout California. PLEASE HELP solve this mystery!!
