Hi Joni,

I found the My Davis family tree, trees.ancestry.com/tree/1169429/person/-1982357522 which contains Charles, Edith, Clara and Gladys. Most larger libraries provide free access to Ancestry.com.

One pierce of info that wasn't on that family tree is the Charles is buried in Cedar Cemetery, Montrose, Montrose, CO. Plot: Section G, Blk Rd 2, Lot 51.
Source: Findagrave.com and includes picture of his tombstone.

In 1930 a Clara Bower was living in Berkeley, Alameda, CA with the Goode family.
Clara, b. NV, 13, lodger, father born=CO and mother born=USA.

Clara is also included in the My Davis family tree. She was married twice and had four children with each husband. She died 8 Dec 1998 in Olathe, Montrose, CO.

Her husband's names aren't listed on the family tree but the owner might be willing to reveal them.

The Bower family in 1930 was living in Oak Grove, Montrose, CO.
C. H. Bower, b. CO, 40, laborer blacksmith shop.
Gladys, b. CO, 25.
Melvin, b. CO, 7.

There isn't an obituary volunteer in Montrose Co., however, you can contact the Montrose Genealogy Center, www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~comgc/Home.html and ask if they'll look up his obituary for a donation. Successful Searching!
