ESTHER GRIMSLEY, 89, Graveside Rites
Memorial graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford for Esther A. Grimsley, 89, of Rocky Ford.
Frank Holder will officiate. Music will be by Virgil and Cindy Ortega.
At Mrs. Grimsley's request, there was cremation.
She died Friday at Pioneer Health Care Center.
She was born March 21, 1911, at Buckeye, AZ, to Sam and Ida (Howell) Croutch. She married Howard W. Grimsley Oct. 19, 1933, at Phoenix, AZ.
Mrs. Grimsley was a beautician in Arizona, and worked for Ark Valley Seed Company in Rocky Ford. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rocky Ford.
She is survived by two son, Jim and Don GRIMSLEY, daughter Evelyn Cline, and their families.
Memorials may be made to Ark Valley Hospice, 118 West Fourth, La Junta.
Ustick Donelson Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
