I am searching for ancestors and descendents of Edward Pellew Arthur b. 1839 in Everton, LAN, Eng. He emmigrated to CO in 1872, first to Bear Creek. Jefferson Co., then to Park Co. in 1874. He first ranched at Garo then lived in Alma and was a co-founder of Bank of Alma. He returned to ranching and in 1893 moved to Cripple Creek, Teller Co., to Manage the Bi-Mettalic Bank. With his first wife, Sarah Morris, he had eleven children, Catherine, Edward P., Sarah (died young), Elizabeth who were born in Sco. and Hamilton, Reginald, Thomas, William, Pellew, Mary, and Harold all born in CO. With his second wife Louise C. W. Barrett he had 3 more. Grace, Charles (my father) and his twin Fred all b. in Cripple Creek. He moved to Canon City, Fremont Co. in 1904 and in 1923 to Eagle Rock, CA, dying there in 1928.
