June Hazel Schrage was born June 6, 1919 to John and Edith Woodmancy at Holdrege, NE, the fifth of 12 children. She was educated at a country grade school and graduated from Phillips County High School with the Class of 1939.

June was baptized at the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Holyoke. She belonged to the Paragon Club and VFW Auxiliary.

On November 29, 1939 she was united in marriage with Frank L. Schrage at the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Holyoke. To this union three children were born: Frank, Neoma and a baby boy who died in infancy. Frank and June lived on a farm south of Holyoke for 50 years.

June passed away July 18, 1989 at 7:10 p.m. at Melissa Memorial Hospital at the age of 70.

She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Schrage of Holyoke; son Frank R. Schrage and wife Jennie and grandchildren Doug, Mike, Tim and Robin of Anchorage, AK; daughter Neoma Woischke and husband Joe of Pine City, MN and grandchildren Kari Wienman and husband Paul of Richland, WA and Robert Baker of Pine City, MN.

She is also survived by her brothers Reuben Woodmancy and wife Nadine of Salt Lake City, UT, Wayne Woodmancy and wife Gloria of Sharon Springs, KS and Vern Woodmancy and wife Dolores of Grant, NE; sisters Irene Elder of Kent, WA, Signa Ward of Aurora, Laverne Brown and husband Dave of Holyoke and Vona Radtke and husband Reiny of Amherst.

June was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Virgil Woodmancy, John (Jack) Woodmancy, Warren Woodmancy and son-in-law Robert A. Baker.

Rosary was held Thursday, July 20, 1989 at 8 p.m. and funeral services were held Friday, July 21, 1989 at 10 a.m. in the Saint Patrick's Catholic Church with Father Jerry Young officiating. Interment was in the Holyoke Memorial Park.
