Glenn C. Ainsworth, 77, a former resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, April 30, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Ainsworth; daughters, Sue Lawrence and husband, Dennis of Albuquerque, Donna Dietrick and husband, Doug of Littleton, CO; six grandchildren, Justin Dietirck, Garrett and Annie Dietrick, Jeff Lawrence, Shari and Robert Crandell; brother, Roy L. Ainsworth and wife, Dorothy of Spokane, WA; sister, Jean Burch of Alamosa, CO; and many other family members and friends.

Mr. Ainsworth was a member of Masonic Lodge #32, American Legion and the Model "T" Club all in Saguache, CO. He was a US Army veteran of WWII where he served in five major battles in the European Campaign. Mr. Ainsworth retired in 1977 from Federal service where he made significant contributions to our nation's space program. We will miss him as a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 1999 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel with Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Justin Dietrick, Garrett Dietrick, Jeffery Lawrence, Robert Crandell, Jr., Doug Dietrick and Dennis Lawrence. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 or the American Heart Association, New Mexico Affilate, 6301 Forest Hills Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
