The WWII draft registration card for Joseph (old Man's Draft) shows Joseph Sr. lived at 24 Ann St. in Greenwich. He was born Oct. 11, 1882 in Rose, Conzensa, Italy. He was employed by Mrs. John Chapman and wife is shown as Rose.

In the Social Security Index it shows Joseph died Jan 1996 in Greenwich. His death date is given as 10-10-1882 (notice the one day difference in birthdate) The Ct death index gives his date of death as January 26, 1966

Deceased Name: Harmon Piro
Harmon Piro, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, died June 25 at his home in Cos Cob at the age of 90.

Mr. Piro was born Feb. 18, 1914 in Greenwich to the late Michele and Carmela Perna Piro.

Mr. Piro was a selfemployed mechanic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. He enjoyed boating and was a member of the Mianus River Boat Club. He taught engine maintenance for many years for U.S. Power Squadron.

He was predeceased by his wife Susan Piro; three brothers, Frank, William, and John Piro; and a sister, Viola Curcio.

Mr. Piro is survived by a son, Jack Piro of Norwalk and by several nieces and nephews.

Burial was private. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements were by the Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc.

Greenwich Post (CT) - December 15, 2005
Deceased Name: Mary Carmella Santora Marzullo
Mary Carmella "Millie" Santora Marzullo, a longtime Greenwich resident, died at her home on Dec. 9 at age 89.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church and St. Mary's Guild.

Mrs. Marzullo was predeceased by her husband Albert Marzullo; her granddaughter Mary Pellegrino Amador; her parents, Joseph and Rosaria (Longo) Santora; four brothers, Pasquale, Michael, Peter and Frank Santora; and two sisters, Rose Santora DeCarlo and Sue Santora Piro.

Calling hours were Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. A mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Dec. 12, at St. Mary's R.C. Church followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
