My maiden name was Linda Ann Jones, born 9/1/47 to Martin Wesley Jones and Ruth Lorraine Bishop Jones in Meadville , Pennsylvania (Crawford County) I have no siblings. I do have 3 grown children.
Charles Hudson Jones was my grandfather (Cora Herrick was his wife, my grandmother). Lyle Hudson Jones was my uncle. Horace Jones was my great grandfather. Charles, Cora and Horace are buried next to one another in the Edinboro Cemetery, Edinboro, PA, overlooking the lake. (I placed a marker on their graves 10 years ago and bought plots for my husband and myself.) My parents are buried in the Roselawn Cemetery, Meadville.
Grandpa (Charlie, a retired Crawford Co. Sheriff) was the family historian. He had traced us back 12 generations in the U.S. If you check the American Heritage Families, you'll find the Joneses.If I can be of help to you as a resource, please feel free to contact me.
