Thank you for answering my post. I don't have any Moody's in Ohio that I know of..My Sarah Moody was born 1729 she was of New Hartford, Litchfield, CT. I wish I could find her parents. Sarah Moody md 23 Aug 1783 at New Hartford, CT to Peletiah 5) Allen they were my 5th gr gp. Their daughter Sarah Allyn md into my Shepard family. I don't know of any marrying into the Fleming line...but your Moody is almost 100 years later than mine and who knows maybe they did..

Wonder if rootsweb has a web site for Moody...think I'll look and see. Maybe that would help both of us. I also have the following Moody women I can't find parents for, they are:

Francis Moody b 1585 Wood Ditton, Cambridge, England she d Nov 1650 at Wethersfield, Hartford, CT and md Thomas Kilbourne..

Martha Moody b 1662 Portsmith, RI d 28 Sep 1729 at Barnstable, MA., md 1680 Hadley, Hampshire, MA to Jonathan Russell the s/o John and Mary (Talcott) Russell.

Mary Ann Moody b 1804 of Coventry, Tolland, CT d 1828 md 1825 at Coventry as the 2nd wife of Timothy Dimick..his 1st wife was Laura Booth.

Sarah Moody b 1755 Barkhamstead, Litchfield, CT md Jonas Weed.
