Classification: Query
Surnames: Culver, Petit, Pettit, Taylor, Fox, Sweatman, DeForest
Abigail Culver married Samuel Pettit in 1799 in Sharon, Litchfield, CT. I am hypothesizing that Almiron (1794) and Chancey (1790) are Abigail's sons from a previous marriage. They could also be younger brothers of Abigail or nephews. At the very least they are related and living in the household of Samuel Pettit in 1800 in Sharon, Schoharie, NY. There are also land deeds being transacted with all their names on them in Sharon, Schoharie NY in the early 1800's (up to about 1820) when Almiron married and moved to Montgomery County NY. Chancey also removed to Montgomery County and later to Madison County NY.

Samuel Petit and Abigail also had at least two daughters together = Abigail Petit Sweatman and Martha Petit DeForest in the early 1800's.

Anyone have any information tying these together
or
know who Abigail's first husband may have been?? I'm assuming he died between 1793 and 1799.
