I understand that many Amenia NY records are included with the Sharon CT
records.

I am looking for information on Cornelius ATHERTON (b Cambridge Mass 1736)
and James ATHERTON (b 1715-16) who moved from Amenia NY to the Luzerne
County PA area around 1775-77. Cornelius had a contract with State of NY
during Revolution to produce firearms.

Believe Cornelius was son of James but may have been a brother. Cornelius
married Mary DELANO of Tolland CT.
