I have looked thru almost all I have looking for Elizabeth's parents..I looked thru all the CD's I have, the IGI and ancestral files..ooops I didn't look for her in the NEHGS Registers...I'll do that later, gotta fix dinner now.

What I have found in the FTM is from Stephen 1) GATES and his descendants. I have found nothing of "my" George b 1634 who md Sarah OLMSTEAD b 1641, their daughter Sarah b 16 Mar 1670 at Haddam, Middlesex, CT. She md Timothy Fuller they were our 5th gr grandparents. Perhaps your Elizabeth is of our George's line.

I did find your Elizabeth in FTM CD 179 on p725 listed under
"UNIDENTIFIED INDIVIDUALS" (I am sure you didn't want to hear that!!)

This is what it shows:
GATES, Elizabeth and David LAMB, 7 Dec 1755 Sharon, CT.

Sorry I didn't find who she was, I'll keep your letter and if I find her I'll let you know. Please do the same for my George GATES; I have thought he was the brother of Stephen 1) GATES but haven't found any thing to prove or disprove it.
