I just wanted to point out a comment you made regarding Josiah Warmsley. You mentioned the statement below:

Josiah, supposedly from African/Native American heritage, was born around 1786, so he was only about 4 years old in 1790 and the names of his parents have not been discovered as of yet; I doubt he brought his family to Middletown.
The Warmsley and the Smith families met in Connecticut where they began to marry; supposedly the first marriage was in 1842 - still checking on that one.
