Hi there,
I just wanted to point out a comment you made regarding Josiah Warmsley. You mentioned the statement below:

Also, "Josiah Warmsley brought his family to Middletown in 1790 and his descendants are still here. They were directly descended from Venture Smith, an African slave who bought his freedom in the mid-1700s and wrote an autobiography of his life's journey."

Josiah, supposedly from African/Native American heritage, was born around 1786, so he was only about 4 years old in 1790 and the names of his parents have not been discovered as of yet; I doubt he brought his family to Middletown.
The Warmsley and the Smith families met in Connecticut where they began to marry; supposedly the first marriage was in 1842 - still checking on that one.
