My cousin Marcia and I have done lots of research on some of these lines and even yesterday she found that there were two potential Jonathans but one died in the rev. and the other married Rebecca and is in the Old Cem.Haddam. The Shailor genealogy is apparently wrong with reference to Elizabeth and Ezra Smith. Our research has Ezra dying on a British prisoner ship in N.Y. Olive Shailor of Asa might have married Jonathan but he died in the Rev. and she probably then married Joshua, he is enumerated next to Asa in the 1790 census. There were two Josh Smiths at this time also, one of
Samuel b.1752 one of Joseph b.1754.
