Crosby High School is the oldest school in the city. The old Crosby was on East Main St. and is now the Police station. The new Crosby is on Peirpont Rd. The last class to graduate from the old building was in 1974 or 75. At that time the school was about one hundred years old. Another old school is Croft, sometimes named Levenworth, but it has not been a school in more than 40 years.
