In the 25 March 1897 issue of the New Haven Register, it notes that a "Truman F Freeman" transferred real estate "yesterday" to Frank S. Baggs. The description of the land is "50 x 120 feet of land corner of Turnpike and Cheshire road." This sees to match up with the home where my great-grandfather Truman F "Greenslet" had his home. The "Greenslit/Greenslet" last name is often misspelled and I am wondering if there is someone who can check records to see if this possibly could be a land transfer involving a "Greenslet" and not a "Freeman." Thank you.
