Capt. Ellsworth Horton, b. 1852, d. 1894, worked as mariner and captain of various ships in New London area. Died in Roosevelt Hosp., NY. Was sent back to New London for burial. Anyone know where? His wife, Carrie E. Butler Horton operated a boarding house after his death. She lived in her later years with daughter Esther Hurley. Does anyone know when she died and where buried?
