I accidentally found your inquiry about information regarding Col John Peters born in Hebron CT in 1718. I have a letter written by the Rev Samuel Peters on August 20, 1818 it reveals the family history of the Peters family from about 1066 when Sir John Peters, Baronet served as Prime Minister under King William the first.It also mentions the Buell and the Birdseye families that were related to the Peters.
