I'm almost afraid to ask...Did your William Gray marry an Emily ? I have been looking for this couple for 3 years with no success. My William & Emily were living in Callaway Co, MO in 1863 when their son, Charles Henry Gray, was born in Calwood. Charles Henry was my grandfather, his son, Charles Glen Gray was my father.

I am certain there were other children but have no idea who they were. Possibilities are a Patrick and perhaps a Levi. These people seem never to have talked with each other very much because no one remembered anything about any of them. I am Glenna Gray, now the last with the Gray name, and there is no one left to answer questions about the family. All I have to work with are threads of memories, names which never meant anything to me in the past but that now fall into place and feel somewhat familiar. I have been able to reconstruct much of the family history except for this one line.
