Oh, my!!! Am I happy you posted!

Yes, I saw the articles years ago, but then I started seriously looking at the sheer volums of Irish immigrants coming into this country in the late 19th century and doubted my research...which was all done with paper and pencil, so it also barely made sense to me in terms of sourcing as I tried to get it into Family Tree Maker.

The trouble with the family is those 4 boys seemed to name all their kids after each other! Oh, and change their middle initials back and forth. I was seriously considering sending out form letters to every McJilton I could find in the phone books to try to figure out this family, or at least untangle my part of it.

I am desperate to talk to you -- email, I mean. I have been so confused by the difference in religions. It didn't make sense.

I will take this off the Wilmington list, but want to thank you all for your hospitality while I was in your fine city, electronic city message board, anyway. :))
