I am a descendant of the McJilton's from Maryland. Rev. Daniel McJilton had at least 4 sons: Rev. John N McJilton, John F McJilton, Daniel A McJilton and Wesley McJilton. Rev. Daniel was a Methodist and Rev. John was an Episcopalian. Both John N and John F were editors for the Baltimore Patriot. John F later became the owner of that newspaper. You can Google John N McJilton and find his obituary. You can find other facts about the McJiltons on the Maryland Archives on line such as the city directories to find where they all lived. If you would like any more info on these people, I will gladly help. By the way I come from John F McJilton and and a relative has a portrait of him with his wife Phoebe Bayless McJilton and their daughter Mary.
