There are 6 Moncktons:

Elwood, bricklayer, 906 W. 7th St.
Geo H., currier, C&J Pyle Co., 615 Adams St.
John W., shaver (hooves?), C&J Pyle Co.. 1227 Linden St.
J. Evan, foreman, L.C.W. Co., bds (boards) 315 E. 3rd St.

Rufus, Elwood and Geo. H. are all within a block or two in the city.


The directory lists businesses also, so you may be able to decipher what kind of companies these were (other than the obvious railroad).
