I think there is a connection because I am the great granddaughter of Alexander Armstrong Stoops and I saw a post that my father posted on here about Horace or "Horice" Stoops who was also know as Horace Bell who was killed by a police officer in Newport News. There was a later post by someone else I think, that indicated Horace at one time lived in New Castle, DE. So, I decided to start searching for Stoops families in New Castle, DE. That's why I am here. I was born in VA and now live in MD. This is so interesting.
