A Barney Cousins Harris was the only shipbuilder in Wilmington during the American Revolution. Although he was a Quaker at the time, he was sympathetic to the American cause, got kidnapped and continued to run supplies to colonial troops. I have information about him, but am looking for information on his descendents.
