In the name of God Amen I Henry LINGO Senr of the County of Sussex in the State of Delaware Yeoman being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God Calling to mind the mortality of my Body, do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament, that is to say principally and first of all I Give and recommend my Soul into the hand of God that Gave it and my Body I recommend to the earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executors, And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life. I give, divide and dispose of the same in the following manner, and form, after all my Just debts and funeral expenses are paid.

First: I give and bequeath unto my son Jesse LINGO the use of one third part of all my lands south of Williams F. TOOMEY's mill pond with the Exception of one acre now occupied by John WINGATE -- during his life and at his death or after to be equally divided between his children.

Second: I give and bequeath unto my son Henry LINGO the use of one third part of all my land South of Williams F. TOOMEY's Mill Pond with the exception of one acre now occupied by John WINGATE during his life and after his death to be equally divided between his children.

Third: I give and bequeath unto my son Elisha LINGO the use of one third part of all my lands South of Williams F. TOOMEY's Mill Pond with the exception of one acre now occupied by John WINGATE during his life and after his death to be equally divided between his children.

Fourth: I give and bequeath one acre of land to John WINGATE where he now lives to him and his Heirs and assigns forever.

Fifth: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Leah PAYNTER the use of one fourth part of the land I bought of Arthur MILBY during her life and after her death to be equally divided between her children.

Sixth: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elisabeth ROBINSON the use of one fourth part of all the land I bought of Arthur MILBY during her life and after her death to be equally divided between her children.

Seventh: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elisa HUDSON one fourth part of all the Land I bought of Arthur MILBY, the use of said land, during her life and after her death to be equally divided between her children.

Eight: I give and bequeath all my movable Estate to my three sons Jesse LINGO, Henry LINGO, Elisha LINGO, and my four Daughters Leah PAYNTER, Elisabeth ROBINSON, Elisa HUDSON and Mary MASSEY to be equally divided between them, that is to say each one has a ____ Seventh part of all my movable Estate, to them and their Heirs and assigns forever.

Ninth: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary MASSEY the use of one fourth part of all the land I bought of Arthur MILBY during her life and after her death to be equally divided between her children.

Tenth & lastly: I do hereby appoint Jesse LINGO and William HUDSON to be the Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, And I do hereby utterly disallow, Revoke and disannul all and every other former Testaments, Wills, Legacies, Bequests and Executors By me in any will before mentioned. Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have her unto set my hand and seal this Twenty Sixth day of January in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty one

Before me Cornelius PAYNTER Regr. for the Probate of Wills and Granting letters of Admt. in and for the said County Personally appeared John HUDSON, Thomas ROBINSON of Wm & William HUDSON the Subscribing Witnesses to the within
Will who being duly sworn on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, did depose and say that in their Sight Presence & hearing The Testator Henry LINGO Senr did Sign, Seal, publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last will and Testament and that at the doing thereof he seemed to be of a sound disposing Mind Memory and Judgement and that they and each of them did Severally Subscribe the Same as Witnesses Thereto. In presence of said Testator and at his request Cornelius PAYNTER, Regr.
