John Crown Jr. was born 12 Feb 1808 in Montgomery County Md. He died 10 Aug 1883 in Georgetown.
Their son, Wm. S. Crown is my ggrandfather and this information comes from my ggrandmother's bible and photo album. I have photos of Mgt. and John Crown Jr. as well as Wm. S. Crown's wife Margaret Keyser.
The obituary in the Star Newspaper on the death of Wm. S. Crown states that he was present in the Fords Theater when Lincoln was shot.
