Hi. My name is Gary Spicer. My father was Paul Eugene Spicer, Jr. His father was Paul E. Spicer, Sr., and I suspect that he is the father of your Paul Denton Spicer. He was born in Culpepper, Va. on 10 Dec 1884. His brother was Richard Newlon Spicer ( a D.C. policeman) Richard was married to Gertrude Woolard, and Paul (Sr.) lived with them in Anacostia, D.C. in the 1930's Family story is that Gertrude had a twin sister, Pearl (Woolard - grandparents?)and that Paul (Sr.) had relations with her. He is reported to have been married several times, but we are still searching for confirming information of all of this. Your information on Paul Denton Spicer seems "dead on."
