Records show that Wm. S. Crown was first married to Sarah T. Howse on 21 Sep 1866. They had three children. Future census records showing his other family with Mgt. Alice Keyser never show the children that he had with the previous wife. There is also a marriage record to a Mary Whitzell on 28 May 1866 which is a short time before his marriage to Sarah T. Howse.
