Sharon, hi!! My grandfather, John Cabell Breckinridge THOMAS was brother to John Randall, Lewis Rance, Lewis Mixon, etc.
I've heard the name Osceola Long, and THINK someone said she was a Creek or Seminole. I'll check with some of my cousins
and see if I can find any more.
John's wife was Anne GAILLESHIOTT, dtr. of Laurence and Ann...if I'm remembering correctly. I only show the one son, James, for Anne and John. Gilshot and James were both Rev. soldiers, serving in the same unit out of Beaufort, SC.
I've just checked Cousin Aaron's #2 THOMAS BOOK(both books are out of print) and he doesn't have anything about Uncle L.R.'s family. I do have Maxie and Osceola in my FTM, but no descendants. I have Uncle L.R.'s children, and a few grands, but not nearly all! 'tis a HUGE family. Many of them still live in the Gilchrist/Suwannee Co area of Fl. We live in Lafayette Co., as do many of Grandaddy Breck's descendants.
