As an alternative, you may want to consider contacting the Clerk of Courts in Broward County Florida (954-765-4575) and asking them to check probate records to see whether or not a last will and testament is on file for Mr. Adams (you need to know the month and year that he died). If a file is available, there will usually be a page in the file that shows the names and addresses of surviving heirs/family members, and you can order a copy of this page by mail or if you live in the same area, visit the courthouse in person to look at the file yourself.
