Email address is
flgirl39@centurylink.net, and yes i have read the book by Robert Mykle-Killer Cane, and it does not have all the people in it, but I did email him and he is the one that told me about the Lawrence Will's book, and yes you will probably have to wait till you get over here, the library says its part of the Glades Historical Society, but I live in Lee County and reserved the book and it was sent to my library for my viewing, so if youre going to be in Glades or near it, you should be able to view it, all of the deceased is in the index in the back of the book as well as thru out the story. As the newspaper goes, I started on Sep. 17-28th, just to make sure I was getting all the info, and the black population was not named or documented as you will see when you read the book, actually reading the book and seeing what happened to all these people made me cry, just to let you know. Now you mentioned something about a 1921 fire, where did that take place? You know there was a hurricane that took place in 1926 also?
