Please go back to the homepage of the Highlands County Genweb site and click on TOB link or table of contents link. This will take you to a page where you can choose the subject "Births" at that link you will be given information on how to get a birth from Highlands County, FL.
It is fairly easy to do and they are the nicest folks around. They will get back to you with the birth cert. as soon as they get your request. They are not behind in that office.
