1850 Jefferson Co., FL census shows the following family: William H. Andrews 39 born Dist. of Columbia; Mary A., 28 born SC; John S. 13, born Fl; Ellen L. 11, born FL; Florida, 10 born FL; Sarah 7, born FL; James J. 6, born FL; Valentine 4, born FL; Zachery T. 2, born FL. On file in the Keystone Genealogy Library is the following: William Henry Andrews from Georgetown, Dist. of Col. born May 3, 1811. Married to Elizabeth Binns from Leesburg, VA. Came to Fl in 1835. Elizabeth and William had 3 children all born Monticello. John Slicer, 2 March 1837; Ellen Lou 1839; and Florida 1841. In 1843 William Henry married Mary Adaline Walker born Florida in 1824. They had 10 children; Sarah, James Jefferson, Valentine, Zachariah Taylor, Jessie, Julia A., Henrietta, William Henry, Laura, Joseph Edward.

I think we are looking at the same William Henry Andrews although some of the earlier info does not agree. Have not found any mention of Fort Andrews. William Henry Andrews was at one time sheriff of Jefferson Co., FL
