I know it has been a long time since this was posted but I encourage anyone who is interested in the Taylor family from Laurens County, Ga. to contact me. My ancestor was Wesley B. Taylor who moved to Leon County Florida abt 1838 from Laurens County. His son John Wesley Taylor married Mary Aldridge Taylor daughter of William Thomas Taylor and Clarissa Kornegay.
In addition to these two families being connected by Laurens Co. and Leon Co., they are also connected by Boston in Thomas County, Ga. Wesley B. Taylor is buried in a cemetery there and several of his children lived there.
