I'am hoping someone remember's this story and some of these people. Need info. on James ? Farless, as the story gose, he was killed in Kiss.Fl. for running around with another man's wife. This would be my GG/grandfather. I don't know what yr. but would have to be after 1885, that's the yr. my G/grandfather was born. ?/ If Known - Full name, where he was from, any brother's/sister's, where he is buried and who killed him.

A little more history that may help. James ? Farless was married to a K or Catherine (Kate) LEE/Farless, from Baker or Hamilton Co. Fl. They had 3 sons James / John and George Hamilton Farless. This would be my G/grandfather.

George H. Farless was born in 1885 in either Fort Drum or Fort Meade, Fl. I don't know if James and Catherine divorced before he was killed or how they came to be in Osceola and Orange Co., but G/grandpa settled in Orlando.

George H. Farless married Lucy Mae CANADA/FARLESS, they had 5 childeren, Edna Mae/my grandmother, Raeford John, James Jackson, Earl Curtis and George Hamilton Farless JR.

They all settled and lived on East Hwy.50 in East Orange Co. I know his brother John Farless lived in the area and had at least one son named Walter K. Farless.

I was told GG/grandmother Catherine LEE/FARLESS remarried to/unknown ?, Had a daughter named Rose. There where about's Unknown? Son/James where about's unknown?

The reason I came to Osceola,Co. is because this is where the line ended, and hope some of the Old Timer's might remember this story or some of the people and maybe fill in some ? for me. Would be most greatful. RE- ragz315@hotmail.com
